TWC Ceramic Substrate(monolith catalyst support) Product Introduce
Gasoline TWC substrate will be used to purify the harmful gas from gasoline engine.
The gasoline-powered eingine usually used in passenger car, small truk, dynamotor and other equipment.
The TWC substrate support exhasut aftertreatment system to meet EuroIV, EuroV, EuroVI, EuroVII emission standards.
The material of the ceramic substrate is Cordierite, 2MgO•2Al2O3•5SiO2, which has a low coefficient of thermal expansion
Each monolith catalyst support contains thousands of parallel channels or holes, which are defined by many thin walls, in a honeycomb structure.
The hole density usually from 400 to 750cpsi, wall thickness usually from 0.17mm to 0.09mm.
The small holes have a much larger surface area, which facilitates catalytic reaction or filtration.
The ceramic substrate supports a catalyst. The catalyst raw materials, such as Rare Earth, Alumina, Platinum Group Matal(PGM, most commonly platinum, palladium, and/or rhodium)) are coated on the wall surface of the holes
TWC Ceramic Substrate Products Feature:
1. Cordierite material, Low Coefficient of Thermal Expansion(CET).
2. High hole density, Thin wall thickness, Large surface area.
3. Low weight density, Low heat absorption, Quickly temperature rises.
4. High open frontal area(OFA), Low back press drop.
5. Good thermal shock resistance, high temperatures application.
6. Applies to all kinds of catalyst raw material.
