SIC silicon carbide DPF Diesel Particulate Filter Filter

Compared with cordierite, SiC substrate has better heat resistance, corrosion resistance and thermal conductivity, the mechanical strength is also improved significantly. Furthermore, for SiC DPF, the temperature fields distribute more evenly in the filter, and the maximum temperature inside filter is much lower than that of cordierite DPF, which can ensure good regeneration performance, so SiC DPF has a better market prospect.

Product introduction

Diesel engine exhaust contains carbon particles of black smoke, they will enter in the particle catcher made of SiC-DPF filters through a special pipeline, so the carbon smoke particles are adsorbed on the filters; When the amount of particles adsorption reaches a certain amount, the end burner will automatically ignite combustion, and burn the adsorbed carbon particles, into harmless carbon dioxide. The whole device is designed as a double chamber structure, filtration and regeneration are carried out separately, so that filtration and regeneration do not interfere with each other, no matter the engine is in any situation can work automatically.
