Product Genral Information
Catalyst Converter Support Mat Products are used in catalyst converter for engine exhaust after-treatment system.
It is wrapped around the ceramic substrate(monolith) and inserted into the shell to keep the cerramic substrate(monolith) fixed in the catalyst converter.
The Catalyst Converter Support Mat provide mechanical support, sealing, protection, thermal and sound insulation or other functions for the catalytic converter.
With different percent of vermiculite and ceramic fiber, we have five different type, Honmat500/502, Honmat 600/ 602, Honmat1000.
Honmat 500/502 are Micro-intumescent Support Mat, Honmat 600/602 and Honmat1000 are No-Intumescent Support Mat.
We offer a variety type and dimension of Catalyst Converter Support Mat (Mount Mat) for different application and Instaled GAP.
HONMAT500/502 micro-intumescent catalyst support mats made of refractory ceramic fiber and an appropriate amount of vermiculite fully takes into account the elasticity of ceramic fiber and high temperature expansion of vermiculite. At lower operating temperatures, the fastening force is provided relying on elasticity of the ceramic fiber while working temperature up to 350 °C, the vermiculite begins to expand, the expansibility of the vermiculite and the elasticity of the ceramic fiber superimpose each other to meet the stability of the system fastening at high temperature.
