Based on the above reasons, it can be known that alumina ceramics are used in a large number of fields such as microelectronics, power electronics, hybrid microelectronics and power modules due to their superior comprehensive performance.

1, Al2O3

Alumina substrate is the most commonly used substrate material in the electronics industry because of its high strength and chemical stability compared with most other oxide ceramics in mechanical, thermal and electrical properties, and its abundant source of raw materials, which are suitable for a wide variety of technologies and different shapes.

2, BeO

It has higher thermal conductivity than aluminum metal, and is used in situations where high thermal conductivity is required. However, it decreases rapidly after temperature exceeds 300 ° C, and most importantly, its toxicity limits its development.

3, AlN

Two very important properties of AlN are noteworthy: a high thermal conductivity and an expansion coefficient that matches Si. The disadvantage is that even a very thin oxide layer on the surface will affect the thermal conductivity, and only strict control of the material and process can produce a good consistency of AlN substrate. But as the economy improves and technology improves, such bottlenecks will eventually disappear.
